Delivering on Demand
Creating a worldwide Web-to-Print system
Keynote Speakers: Robert Durham, President/CEO, HKM Direct Market Communications
Mike Lyman, Manager Online Communications, YRC Worldwide
Date/Time: Wed,  9:00 - 10:00 am
Web-to-print solutions are one of the most useful and profitable new digital applications for both marketers and service providers. This keynote will help de-mystify the process of developing a system.

When Mike Lyman first began to implement an on-demand strategy his focus was on one brand: Roadway Express. However Roadway was acquired by YRC Worldwide, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest transportation service providers in the world. Marketing was consolidated from the divisions (brands) to a central corporate role. This created entirely new challenges, including the need for:

  1. One fulfillment center for all printed collateral
  2. 1-to-1 print-on-demand services for each company
  3. A virtual selling solution to assist in design and implementation of print and email
  4. Sales On-Demand – for rapid creation of new sales collateral
Rob will detail the solution his company created in partnership with YRC – a system that currently supports 1,800 users and is being expanded to support over 6,000 worldwide. Mike and Rob will explain the process, evolution, success and ROI analysis of one of the largest enterprise print-on-demand solutions in the world today. They’ll also discuss new opportunities that have emerged based on the success of this system.

Key Takeaways
  • Understand how common business problems, like controlling multiple brands, can be solved by Web-to-print and digital printing technology
  • Learn how to design a system that is scalable & efficient
  • Find out what’s required to support a global implementation
  • Discover how to get started and then expand your existing relationships
