Donovan Neale-May, Executive Director Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council Donovan Neale-May is the founder and executive director of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council (http://www.cmocouncil.org/), a global affinity network of more than 3,500 senior marketing and branding executives, who control more than $100 billion in annual marketing spend. Robert Durham, President/CEO HKM Direct Market Communications Mr. Durham has 27 years’ experience in the sales and marketing industry. He began his career working in the group life, health and pension business and was a group representative for Great West Life Assurance Company and employee benefits marketing manager for Lincoln National. He is now president of HKM Direct Market Communications, and the managing partner of DirectConnectGroup.
Mr. Durham’s clientele includes many Fortune 1000 corporations. Mike Lyman, Manager Online Communications YRC Worldwide Mike has focused much of his career on internet and intranet web development in the area of content management systems, print on demand, one to one marketing solutions, branding, interface design and re-engineering communication strategies and marketing functions through web technology. He has worked with the NFL, World News Tonight, Dateline, 20/20 and ESPN on a variety of multi-media and film productions. Mike eventually joined Roadway Express, one of the largest transportation companies in North America, as Manager of Online Communications. This role included oversight for enterprise Intranet efforts, the management of several extranets and internet, printing and merchandise responsibilities for operations throughout North America.
YRC Worldwide Inc., a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest transportation service providers in the world, is the holding company for Roadway and many other successful brands including Yellow Transportation, Reimer Express, YRC Logistics, New Penn, USF Holland, USF Reddaway, and USF Glen Moore. Rab Govil, President, PODi Rab Govil is a recognized thought leader in the digital printing industry. Joe Metzger, President, Metzgers Printing + Mailing Web-to-Print TrackJoe Metzger began his career in graphics arts as a stat camera operator at his family typesetting business. He launched one of the first RC Paper and Film Imaging service bureaus in Northwest Ohio and connected the first color copier to a Fiery RIP 1.0. But, the list of “firsts” has never stopped growing. The first “stationery store” web-to-print site, was custom built for a local client in 1997 and web-to-print and eFulfillment has been a driving force in growth and customer acquisition success at Metzgers. Today the company has over 25 clients on full web-to-print, eFulfillment or eCommerce systems.
Joe heads up the business management, focus and vision for their $13 million printing and mailing firm which also provides fulfillment, warehouse & distribution as well as custom pick, pack & ship services. Mark Anderson, President, BuzzFactory
Mark Anderson began his career in Marketing when he launched a lettershop in Palm Springs, CA after college. After seeing tons of "junk mail" come through his plant, Mark became interested in helping his clients grow their business with direct mail. His lettershop became the perfect laboratory for learning how to drive response rates using direct mail. Ultimately he merged his company with a local printer and invested in an iGen specializing in VDP. VDP allowed the company to experiment with combining targeted data, eye-popping creative and compelling offers to drive response rates. His journey ultimately led him to integrated campaigns combining off-line and on-line components including direct mail, traditional print, email, PURL's and the web to drive results for clients. Selling his interest in his print & mail firm, he launched BuzzFactory, a direct agency that specializes in integrated campaigns. Mark has a B.A. in Communications from the University of California at San Diego & a M.B.A. from the University of Redlands. |

David Beasley, VP Internet Services, Beasley Direct Marketing
Dave started his career as a scientist, working for Raychem and Lockheed. He transitioned to working as a strategic problem solver and OEM channel manager for the disk drive industry, working in various capacities for Seagate, Toshiba, Quantum and Samsung. One of his responsibilities at Seagate was to create a worldwide OEM customer support system that was accessible from the company's intranet. His interest in this technology project led him to expand his skills in the internet, which eventually lead him to work on other large-scale internet projects, such as the creation and launch of the Roxio.com e-commerce website, creation and maintenance of the Direct Marketing Association website and other internet-based projects for PeopleSoft, etc. These projects gave him the background to expand Beasley Direct into the world of CRM and database marketing. He now heads Beasley Direct's email marketing, CRM, and web services. Dave is an expert consultant in SalesForce.com and several other CRM tools.

Rex Brooker, Manager - Document Services Support Group, Principal Financial Group
Rex Brooker brings 21 years of experience to the digital printing space. Brooker’s accomplishments while at Principal include the formation of the team he now manages, implementation of inserting integrity processes for the organization’s mailed documents, and the implementation of a high-volume digital color printing infrastructure.
Before coming to Principal, Brooker served as a printing systems analyst and technical resources manager for Xerox. His focus during this phase of his career was the convergence of data center and reprographics area printing technologies. Prior to that, he was a digital printing systems programmer for Farm Bureau Life. He also serves on the curriculum advisory committee for the Des Moines Area Community College Graphic Technologies department.

Mike Caruso, Senior Director - Information Technology, Sir Speedy Scottsdale
Mike Caruso has been in the Information Technology field for over 15 years holding IT positions in various industries. His career started working as a network engineer at a college and has included working for an ISP as director of technical support, heading the regional technology department for a financial services company and becoming the IT director for Sir Speedy Scottsdale. Tom Clayton, Product Manager, Hewlett-Packard Company
Tom Clayton has spent over 8 years in the digital document industry as an employee of HP Exstream. In his first 4 years with the company Tom worked as a professional services consultant helping customers design and implement their HP Exstream solutions. Tom then spent the next 4 years with HP Exstream as an account manager assisting customers within the Insurance Industry. Tom is currently working as a product manager with HP Exstream. Prior to joining HP Exstream, Tom spent over 4 years as a system development manager with GE. Tom’s responsibilities included managing projects to enable their sales team to drive increased revenue. Prior to that, he spent over 11 years working in a variety of roles with NCR Corporation working mainly in the information management organization. Mike Kyle, Eco Director, Pace Lithographers Mike received his engineering degree from Arizona State University in Graphic Communications. He started his career in printing back in 1983 and has worked at some of the smallest printing operations as well as the biggest. Previously the Marketing and Eco Director for Los Angeles based Graphic Venue, Mike has recently joined Pace Lithographers as Eco Director. His task at hand is to help continue Pace’s “green” efforts as well as educate its client base about the power (and greenness)of digital printing. Learning from mistakes, trial and error, extensive research and sometimes lucky breaks, Mike has become a noted local printing resource for the Southern California green movement. Mike is a certified FileMaker and Excel expert and has spoken on many subjects including Digital Asset Management, Printing and the Environment, Interpersonal Skills in the Workplace and even Independent Film Marketing. |

John Leininger, Professor, Clemson University
John Leininger is a Professor in the Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson University. He began his teaching career in 1978 and has been at Clemson since 1986. He received his Doctorate in Vocational Technical Education from Clemson University in 1991. He has taught courses in flexography, lithography, digital printing, inks and substrates as well as the department’s management class dealing with estimating, planning, equipment purchasing, cost analysis, and plant layout. He makes a point to travel out into the industry for plant visits, to attend conferences and present technical training around the country. John has presented at 10 technical conferences this past year and has conducted hands-on training with a traveling VDP Training Consortium over 85 times in the past three years training over 1,500 people how to work with Variable Data Printing. John tries to develop his training and presentations in keeping with the Department of Graphic Communication’s Mission Statement: To develop dedicated, practical problem solving people for the printing, publishing, imaging, packaging and allied industries; drives his presentation strategy. |

Martin began his career with MLI over twelve years ago in the production end of the business and has worked in almost all departments within the company. In 1996 Martin was one of the main principals in the creation of MartinLitho on Campus which was an eight year ten million dollar facilities management contract with the University of South Florida. During this time, Martin oversaw the On Campus facility and all aspects of production, sales, and customer service. Currently Martin is instrumental in the team that is leading MLI into new markets with its name change to MLI Integrated Graphic Solutions. Martin has been charged with setting a new course for the company not just in print, but also in the custom services that MLI offers to its clients, such as Colabria and In Touch, and creating additional revenue streams for MLI. Martin and his team develop custom solutions which fit MLI’s client needs. Martin was the lead project coordinator in implementing several multi million dollar accounts such as: Market Street Mortgage, Ideal Image, Cinergy, Bausch & Lomb, and other. Most of these accounts rely on Efillment Solutions, and the In Touch program. Today Martin oversee the Sales and Marketing arm of MLI and was a co – author of Efillment Solutions, a web based supply chain management tool, which has proven essential in providing four years of double-digit growth.
