Re-engineering Customer Apps – Good for the Client, Great for the Solution Provider

Speakers: John Kastner, VP of Corporate Marketing Communication, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
Daniel Mortimer, CTO, Alexander's Digital Printing

Date/Time: Tues, 11:15 - 12:15 pm

One of the key value drivers of digital print is the ability to create solutions that save customers time and money with improved outcomes. See how re-engineering or automating customer processes can mean consistent, predictable, high margin revenue streams for your business.

Daniel Mortimer from Alexander’s Digital Printing will share the strategy for the solution they built to offer dental practices an automated appointment reminder service. Personalized postcards are sent to patients who are due for dental services. The high level of automation in this solution reduced the amount of time dental office staff must spend on reminders and reduces missed appointments.

John Kastner from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield will share the enterprise perspective of how a print on demand solution for enrollment kits benefited their company. CareFirst faced the daunting challenge of keeping more than three million members informed about a myriad of plans with frequently changing benefits. Coupling its powerful StoreFront technology and variable data digital printing capabilities, Consolidated Graphics created a highly customized and efficient process for online ordering and on-demand production. The solution enabled CareFirst to close down an entire warehouse, avoid the waste associated with obsolete materials, and reduce its postage costs and call center volumes.
This session will be moderated by Pageflex.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand the strategy of how to use digital printing and technology to create new value for customers
